Validated Performance. Irreversible Chemistry.
Every metric is independently demonstrated. The core chemistry is irreversible — the final product is proof against reverse engineering, offering permanent Trade Secret protection.
See It For Yourself
Laboratory and field demonstrations of BRE-LAK Powder's core properties — hydrophobicity, oleophobicity, structural integrity, and fire resistance.
Water Repellency
BRE-LAK powder does not retain water and does not react with it in any way. When scattered on water, it floats and excludes the water. It even protects a match dipped in water from getting soaked.
Oil Test
Oleophilic absorption - The powder selectively draws out and encapsulates oil from water.
Oil spills at sea cause severe ecological disasters, covering approximately 1.58 million square kilometres of the world's oceans every year.
The highest concentrations have been measured in the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea, as well as off the coasts of West Africa and around Indonesia.
An estimated 8,500 potentially polluting shipwrecks may rest on the ocean floor, most of which sank during the two World Wars.
BRE-LAK Powder may offer a solution to this problem.
The Solution – BRE-LAK Powder
Mixing and Pouring
The process of making lightweight concrete with BRE-LAK powder. Mixed in a conventional mixer. Pouring and smoothing.
After 40 hours, the panels can be removed from the formwork. The old prefab housing factories are once again playing an important role in fast-build rental housing programmes — this time with the old shortcomings eliminated.
These residential buildings are thermally insulated, acoustically insulated, vapour-permeable, energy-efficient and fire-resistant. All of this is delivered by the raw material from which the panels are made.
Mobile Modular Fire-Resistant Wall
Completed mobile fire-resistant wall system, with support beams along the edges and clearly visible panel joints. Up to two rows reaching 4.5–5 metres in height.
Fire Resistance Test. Combustion.
A 4 cm thick BRE-LAK panel subjected to direct flame at 900°C for 2 minutes. The dual measuring instrument confirmed: while the external surface reached 900°C, the internal temperature did not rise — the material does not burn or structurally fail. Demonstrating passive fire protection without chemical retardants.
Mobile Fire Barrier Wall System
BRE-LAK panels assemble into a rapidly deployable mobile fire barrier wall — installed by hand, no machinery required. In forest and wildfire scenarios, the system is erected as a perimeter fence around buildings and infrastructure, stopping fire spread. Fully portable and deployable wherever an immediate fire containment line is needed.
Validated Performance Data
Infrared Temperature Measurement on BRE-LAK Concrete Sample
Independent laboratory measurement using a dual-sensor infrared thermometer on a BRE-LAK concrete sample subjected to direct gas flame. The internal temperature of the sample did not rise during the 2-minute test — confirming the material's exceptional thermal insulation and fire resistance properties.
The Chemistry
An irreversible reaction. A permanent Trade Secret.
BRE-LAK Powder is produced via an irreversible chemical reaction. Once the reaction completes, the resulting material cannot be deconstructed to reveal the source formula or production process. This makes it chemically and mathematically proof against reverse engineering — providing permanent intellectual property protection without reliance on patents, which require public disclosure.
Extreme Thermal Resistance
Withstands 900°C direct gas torch without combustion. The internal temperature of the protected structure remains stable while the external flame reaches 900°C.
Rapid Active Solidification
Solidifies by actively expelling water content — not passive evaporation. This enables 36–40 hour demolding for precision tongue-and-groove interlocking panels.
Water-Expelling Property
When deployed on water, it floats and expels the surrounding medium while only absorbing the target contaminant (oil).
Oleophilic Absorption
Simultaneously oleophilic — immediately begins to absorb and bind floating hydrocarbon oils. The dual superhydrophobic-oleophilic property is the basis for the marine and river oil spill application.
Sand-Free Matrix
No sand in the structural formula. Eliminates the global construction industry's dependency on river sand and bypasses desert sand's structural failure risks.
Vapor-Permeable (Breathable)
Structural panels produced from BRE-LAK Powder are vapor-permeable — allowing moisture vapor to pass through while maintaining fire resistance and structural integrity.
Intellectual Property Strategy
The irreversible nature of the chemical reaction provides a stronger form of protection than a patent — which requires public disclosure of the formula. BRE-LAK Powder's formula and production process are protected as a Trade Secret, with the final product being chemically and mathematically proof against reverse engineering.
Patent
Not RequiredPatents require public disclosure of the formula — creating a roadmap for competitors. BRE-LAK Powder's protection is stronger without one.
Trade Secret
ActiveThe irreversible chemical reaction means the final product cannot be reverse engineered. The formula and process remain permanently protected.
